When it comes to manufacturing luxurious watches, Audemars Piguet is among the top brands on the list. And the launch of its new, impressive Royal Oak Offshore, the company has placed itself as self-winding timepiece maker.
Enclosed in the trademark, sturdy case of Audemars Piguet and shielded by a sapphire crystal and a solid back and secured by 8 polished steel screws, the self-winding Caliber 2897 masterpiece shines like a bright star. It’s equipped with a chronograph and a tourbilion, and has a set of 335 parts on which the manually-adjusted and beveled, decorative surfaces deliver a shimmering shade and light.
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak features a peripheral oscillating weight, which makes the self-winding possible. Just like other luxury watches from the manufacturer, the tourbilion is well-optimized for precision and the chronograph sports a column wheel.
