The 1967 Lamborghini Marzal once driven by Prince Ranier of Monaco has been auctioned for a whopping $2.1 million at a recent auction event. The vehicle was ceremoniously unveiled for the first time to the auto enthusiasts and consumers at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show. From the auto exhibition center, it was driven straight to the Bertone designer study museum.
Bertone Museum recently selected RM Auctions to place the luxury car from the renowned Italian car maker, Lamborghini, under the hammer at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. At the end of the auction, the gavel bid amen to the lucky bidder who later drove the luxury car away after parting with his hard-earned $2.1 million.
The 1967 Lamborghini Marzal resurrects our sweet memories of the past. At the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix, the prototype was driven around by Prince Ranier and Princess Grace.
