The latest speaker system from the British manufacturer, B&W, generates a sizable power for a mini home theater application. This Bowers & Wilkins’ 6-piece surround system called the MT-60D sports 5 revamped editions of the forty six-year-old company’s M-1 speakers, which was originally launched way back in 2006.
Featuring new drive units, including redesigned mid-range driver and a tube-loaded tweeter that helps to reduce resonance, the MD-60 surround-sound system showcases a greater dispersion of sound than its predecessor, and hence generates optimal performance throughout the whole room where it is kept.
The inconspicuous speakers with a retail price of $2,950 are only 10 inches in height and can be either fixed to an optional floor stand or mounted on a wall.
