Entirely crafted from a single piece of diamond, this one holds the record as the world’s first all-diamond 150-carat ring. It has been turning heads since it was unveiled recently, and this top-of-the-class luxury jewelry is expected to pull in an eye-popping sum of $70 million. Conceptualized by Mohamed Shawesh, the President and CEO of the Swiss jewelry company, Shawish Jewelry, this ring took the whole team of jewelers a full year to wrought, without the involvement of any setting, since the ring doesn’t have one. With laser-cutting and traditional polishing, the jewelers used a multi-pronged technique to create this 150-carat treasure that will see no close competitor in the nearest future.
