Muscle cars and sports watches: David Yurman’s Revolution Shelby 1000 Sports Watch

David Yurman, jewelry and timepiece designer, and Carroll Shelby, muscle-car visionary, formed a unique team to design the David Yurman Revolution Shelby 1000, Yurman’s first limited-edition sports watch.   This new addition is to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of Shelby American and the introduction of the new Shelby 1000 Mustang, a sports car described to be Shelby’s be the most powerful. The timepiece will be available in two stunning and lavish models: stainless steel and black. They will both feature a 43.5 mm case with rubber side insets and an engraved tachymeter scale with a hand-finished Shelby Cobra insignia. The sports watch will be powered by ETA/Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph movement. Nobody could ask for better craftsmanship. The price for the David Yurman Revolution Shelby 1000 is yet to be confirmed, but it is estimated that it will be priced at $7,200 for the stainless steel model, and $8,600 for the black model and will be available soon at selected retailers and at David Yurman retail stores or online.
