YSL 2012 Summer Collection

YSL's new cosmetic line for this summer is as luxurious as it gets. Gold and shimmer are everywhere in the Terre Saharienne Collector luminous blush and face powder, the Pure Chromatics Eye Shadow, the Golden Gloss, the Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Waterproof and the Dessin Du Regard Waterproof Eye Pencil. The stand-out is the Terre Saharienne Collector, with a python print designed, inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent Couture accessories. It makes the complexion look radiant and glowing because of its pigments that catch the light, because of the pure crystalline properties in its formula. It’s long lasting, heat and humidity resistant, blurs imperfections and has SPF 12 UV shield Mica particles, coated with amino acids. It comes in two shades: Harmonie Tanned and Harmonie Sunkissed. The Pure Chromatics Eye Shadows are available in three sets of four eye shadow hues. YSL formulated them using their newest technology that uses no solvents, instead, water saturated with pigments and mother of pearls. This makes the eye-shadows 50% more concentrated than any other. They can also be applied wed, for a metallic finish. For lips, the Golden Glosses are sophisticated and shimmery, with luxurious 24-carat gold flakes. It leaves lips feeling soft because it includes nourishing oils that protect and hydrate. They are available in four tones: Golden Shelle, Golden Pebble, Golden Pearl and Golden Sand. And, last but not least, the Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Waterproof provides an unbelievably natural false lash effect and lasts 24 hours. The Dessin Du Regard Waterproof Long-lasting Eye Pencil is smudge-proof, transfer resistant and can last up to 16 hours. Mascara is available in Burnt Brown and Majorelle Blue, and eye liner in Luminescent Gold and Azure Blue.
