$3.5 Million for The Most Expensive Tequila, The Diamond Sterling

“The Diamond Sterling” is now the most expensive bottle of tequila in the world. A 1.3 liter bottle valued at $3.5 million U.S. Dollars, $2.5 million per liter. But it’s not the contents that makes this tequila bottle so expensive, but the design of the bottle itself. The bottle was created by Tequila Ley .925, by artist Fernando Altamirano, made of platinum and 328 carats of diamonds, which is the equivalent of 4,000 sparkling rocks. The inside is filled with a 7-year-old 100 percent agave tequila by Hacienda La Capilla. The bottle is currently on a European and Middle Eastern tour.
