The only remaining Model A Ford car with the serial number 30 is now the World's oldest Ford and will be auctioned at the RM Auction's annual sale in Hershey Pennsylvania on October 11th and 12th.
The vehicle is powered by an 8-horse-power 100-cu.in. flat two-cylinder engine, has four leather seats and painted in beautiful dark red. It was first sold for $850 dollars at that time. These Model A cars were build in one batch at the historic Mack Avenue production plant.
The current owner of the car purchased it back in 2007 for $693,000 at the "Vintage Motor Cars in Arizona" Auction. Notably, this particular vehicle was last offered on sale in 2010, but its bidding failed to meet an undisclosed reserve, and, now the car has come up on the auction blocks again with pre-sale estimate of $300,000 to $500,000.
