If you are looking for a very exclusive (and expensive) way to celebrate this year's Christmas dinner with three of your closest friends or family members, look no further.
For an astounding price of $200,450 U.S. Dollars, you can enjoy the delicious meals prepared by the Head Chef at John Salt London, Ben Spalding. He has been the head of over 12 kitchens, all with their respective Michelin stars, in more than four countries. The four-course meal includes:
A bottle of Champagne from before World War One, served in special champagne flutes, studded with diamonds, with Almas caviar (world's most expensive) and 150 year-old balsamic vinegar as the first course. It is followed by some Yubari King, a Chinese melon, considered to be the world's most expensive, with white truffle and saffron on the side. The third course is the tradicional Christmas turkey filled with Wagyo beef fillet and heart. But this menu's turkey is none other than Dodine turkey, a very rare breed. To make it even more special, it will be wrapped in 50 carat gold leaf (edible), with Akbari pistachios sprinkled all over. Finally, some whipped Kopi Luwak, which is coffee berry beans that were digested by Asian Palm Civet cats, as well as some Densuke watermelon, a very special kind of melon that only grows in Hokkaido, Japan. All this sweetness will be served in a gold Ugandan vanilla plate.
Eighty percent of Ben's fee will be donated to to Cancer Research UD and Hospitality Action. A very noble and luxurious cause indeed.
