John Varvatos is not only a renowned fashion designer, he is also successful in other design ventures, such as audio equipment.
McIntosh’s SoHo Audio system, created in collaboration with Varvatos, is now available at Charity Buzz website for bidders at the astounding price of $150,000. The audio system is equipped with an amplifier set of 1,200-Watt MC 1.2 kW, XRT1K loudspeakers, C50 Stereo pre-amplifier, MEN220 room correction system, MPC 1500 power conditioner and a MT5 Precision Turntable for old-school vinyl record lovers.
The charity is expected to go on through March 21st, and all proceeds will be donated to Stuart’s House, an institution that helps sexually abused children. The winner also gets to enjoy a private tour of the McIntosh factory, accompanied by Charlie Randall, president of McIntosh and John Varvatos himself.
