Sylvester Stallone fans on eBay rejoiced when the movie star auctioned his Leica M9 camera used on his last film "The Expendables II", but although the item has a high star value, the final bidding price was not as high as one would have expected.
The final bid was for $7,100 U.S. Dollars, and included the camera, battery, charger, strap, a 35 mm f/2.5 Summarit Lens, a carrying case, a The Expendables II DVD and, to add star value to it, a manual signed by Mr. Stallone himself. Technically speaking, the camera has 18 mega pixels, a CCD censor, and a 2.5-inch LCD screen; ISO sensitivity can be modified by pressing on a button, as well as white balance, resolution, and exposure.
The M9 Leica appears once on set and it was then returned to the prop master on sets.
