Christie's to auction Lily Safra's jewels on May 14th, 2012

There’s an auction coming up at the Christie’s on May 14^th, and this is really big! On that day, the much cherished jewelry collections of Mrs. Lily Safra will go under the hammer at the popular auction house, with the benefits going to twenty institutions. This sale is said to be one of the largest single-owner collection of jewelries that include an extraordinary ruby and diamond camellia flower brooch that Mrs. Safra especially commissioned to be designed several years back. Christie’s will hold the auction at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, Switzerland.
